Hills Creek Watershed GRANT to improve water quality

COMING SOON!

The Chesterfield Soil and Water Conservation District is headquartered in Chesterfield County, SC. Directions

Background

Across the United States, nearly 3,000 conservation districts are helping local people to conserve land, water, forests, wildlife and related natural resources.

We attempt to coordinate assistance from all available sources—public and private, local, state and federal—in an effort to develop locally-driven solutions to natural resource concerns.

Natural Resources Conservation Service

We work in conjunction with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to provide technical assistance to landowners to help reduce soils erosion, improve water quality and quantity, enhancing wildlife habitat, maintaining open spaces and aesthetic landscapes, and improving the health of the land for future generations.

Information for Landowners

All landowners can receive conservation planning assistance through our office.  We also have information on cost-share and grant programs that are periodically offered
