Agricultural Producers and Landowners |

Agricultural farms and
landowners with water quality concerns may be eligible for
financial assistance. Producers and landowners are encouraged
to call the office for more information. Past 319 award
recipients have received cost share assistance on the following: |

Livestock Producers |
Commercial Poultry Producers |
- Fencing livestock out of streams, ponds and rivers
- Alternate water sources (troughs/tanks and pipelines)
- Well
- Creating buffer strips to trap sediment

Livestock with direct access to surface waters
contribute significant amounts of coliform bacteria into the
environment. |
Manure stacking sheds are used to store animal manure. This
prevents rainwater from contacting the manure andbecoming
contaminated. |
