Agricultural Producers and Landowners

Agricultural farms and landowners  with water quality concerns were eligible for financial assistance to install practices that improved water quality on their farm.  Examples of practices eligible for funding included:

Livestock Production:

Restrict water access and use alternate water sources (troughs).
Creating buffer strips to trap sediment.

Poultry Production:

Manure Stacking Sheds.

This permanant structure prevents rainwater from contacting manure and subsequent runoff from becoming contaminated.
