2011 was a busy year!  We launched our new website, honored our Farmer of the Year, hosted our annual poster and photo contests while working on some new partnerships.  We were featured in a national Longleaf Video. Check it out!

Most notably, we started working with the Sandhills Longleaf Pine Conservation Partnership. Through that partnership, we are hosting a $50,000 grant to help landowners establish Longleaf pine trees on suitable properties.  The Partnership continues to apply for grants to potentially provide more funding for this project.

Our Hills Creek 319 Grant continues, in which we are helping reduce Fecal Coliform Contamination in the Hills Creek Watershed, near Pageland, SC.

We recently attended a kickoff meeting for a new local community group call the Carolinas Family Farms and Gardeners Cooperative.

There is alot going on....so check back for more info!
